Another year in the books yet, do we even want to acknowledge this one? The movie industry has been shaken to its core as well as anyone else who thrives off of it. I must say, this year was disheartening as a blogger and reviewer. I lost interest and really had no desire to make the effort to hunt down some films I had a fragment of an interest in. But alas, I still logged 43 films that were released in the calendar year of 2020. No where near where I wanted to be, but also no where near consisting of much quality, in my opinion. Here’s to hoping 2021 releases some bigger titles as the studios plan for a largely “straight to home” year with a little bit of theater releases as well.

As always, the rankings are split between overall quality then personal entertainment. Typically the two lists do not differ all that much, but sometimes a quirkier film might break higher on the entertainment scale than the quality scale.
